Ramsey was incorporated in 1908 and is nestled in the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains about twenty miles northwest of New York City. 

Ramsey is a six square mile Borough with some 14,500 residents. This attractive community has an appearance of pastoral serenity, yet is vital and modern in every respect.
